bespoke moulding for period and traditional victorian and georgian properties including skirting boards, architrave, picture rails and dado rail moldings

Our bespoke service allows you to match a new product with your existing moulding. This is particularly useful if you only need to replace one wall or if alterations to your house means you are adding an extra doorway or window. Once we have your design on file, you will also be able to make further orders very simply in the future.

There is a minimum charge of £200 for this service due to the time taken to match up cutters. Obviously, the more metres ordered the more economical it becomes and for large orders, the price can often be in line with the online designs.

If you are interested in this service, please fill out the form below and we will contact you with a price.

Attach a drawing

Attach an accurate drawing of the moulding with width and height in mm. (Alternatively you can post a small sample of the moulding you wish to match to 'Arthur Wood Joinery, Unit 6 Hardwick Court, Beechings Way Industrial Estate, Alford, Lincolnshire, LN13 9JE' but please note we are unable to return samples sent.)

See below for an example of the type of drawing and info we require.

To get an accurate drawing from a moulding that is still attached to the wall, the best method is to saw a thin cut into the moulding, then slide a piece of paper into the cut that you can then draw round. This must be done with great accuracy and a thin nibbed pen or pencil. You can then fill and repaint the moulding.
